Mark has long-term experience of working at the most senior levels in the financial services sector, major industry and both federal and state departments and agencies and acts as a sounding board for CEOs and Managing Directors in the handling of sensitive performance management issues, such as the management of difficult individuals.

Mark believes that performance management is about proactively managing poor performance and, just as important, it is about recognizing, developing and retaining high performing individuals.   To this end he has developed performance management systems and Staff Recognition Programs. 

Coaching for high level individuals and teams is a cornerstone of Mark’s approach to creating and supporting lasting change and, increasingly Mark is working with CEOs or Managing Directors, plus their direct reports, on their individual development needs and the interpersonal and cross-functional issues of the performance and impact of the leadership team as a whole.

Having led teams of HR professionals Mark is recognized in the financial services sector for his strengths in Enterprise Bargaining & Remuneration and Benefits issues including the sourcing and implementation of Employee Self Service Systems. 

Mark is accredited in the facilitation & interpretation of team building profiles via Team Management Systems and their 360-degree feedback tool; Linking skills.  He is a skilled mediator and has been called upon by various organisations to resolve interpersonal conflicts between staff members and to facilitate team planning sessions for a diversity of clients.

A skilled recruitment professional, Mark is accredited in the SPQ Gold - a sales aptitude psychometric tool that identifies an individual’s reticence to sell, self-promote or close a deal.

Mark has practical experience in Return to Work Co-ordination and the management of difficult workers compensation cases across both the Federal and State systems.
