Our
Brisbane client is one of the most experienced consulting houses dedicated to
the idea of Business Process Management (BPM) providing solutions for
Australia's blue-chip corporations. They are driven by a commitment to
innovation and success at each level of the organisation.
Reporting
directly to the Managing Director and liaising daily with the
Operations Manager in Brisbane and Consultants located throughout
Australia, you will assist with the financial management, reporting and
analysis responsibilities for the firm.

be an ideal opportunity to consolidate and develop your Financial &
Management Accounting skills within a consulting organisation.
Initially
offered as a 12 month contract position, this is a hands-on role where
you will be required to build relationships and communicate effectively
with both clients and consultants.
Other aspects of your role will include:
Forecasting, cash-flow and budgeting.
Conducting year-end and month-end reports.
Preparation of FBT, GST and BAS activity statements.
Maintaining the general ledger using Quickbooks / SAP B1.
Preparation of monthly management accounts.
Preparation of financial statements.
Preparation of Payroll and related tasks.
You will have:
A tertiary degree in accounting with CPA /CA qualifications being highly regarded, but not mandatory.
Thorough understanding of the Australian taxation legislation.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
A minimum of 4 to 5 years strong financial accounting experience gained within a commercial environment.
Experience using Quickbooks (essential) SAP (highly regarded).
